Our rattan designs are hand crafted exclusively for Mandalay by traditional artisans with an unmistakable signature style and are only available through your specialty retailer, professional interior designer or architect.



Mandalay Designs is a privately owned company founded by Emma Strauss. The Mandalay concept is a result of 20 years experience in the fashion and textile industries which resulted in putting Emma’s passion for design into a life-style brand that offers a look inspired by history, travel and a love of design & colour. Our focus is the attention on both comfort and detail, providing clients with stylish, sophisticated interiors and products.

Mandalay designs are timeless, easy to live with and particularly suited to our relaxed and modern lifestyles. Our client base has grown over time to include the best designers and retailers in Australia & New Zealand. Mandalay’s range has styled many exclusive homes, showrooms, hotels and offices adapting well to cities, coastal and country environments. We have supplied the showroom of Tommy Hilfeger in Europe with our rattan products including our well loved Pimms Lounge chairs.
